Hello! It’s me, Stephanie!

Welcome to my very own space in the internet!

Me and Henry David Thoreau (HDT for short)

Me and Henry David Thoreau (HDT for short)

I am in my early thirties, recently transplanted to North Carolina from Ohio with my fiance and pup, where we enjoy long walks, reading, lifting, and creating!

I am an enneagram 5, a Hufflepuff, obliger, and INFJ. If you don’t speak personality test - I am an incredibly loyal, introvert who seeks all the knowledge while needing deadlines and accountability outside of myself. I am sarcastic and a lover of colorful language. Most of my time is spent reading, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, watching a docuseries or reruns of my favorite shows, or talking about any of the above to anyone who will listen.

I started drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon and didn’t really stop until I went to college where my creative efforts were used in a more structured manner. After college graduation, I stopped creating altogether - perhaps the combination of not being able to find my ‘big kid job’ (hello fellow 2010’s young adults who were facing a horrible job market with the capitalist HUSTLE mentality) and thinking that my creative ways were something to be left behind to be more “adult.”

After a few years of the up and down in the 9-5 professional world and a serendipitous encounter with a coworker who needed art for his poetry book, I became reacquainted with a long-lost part of myself. Leaning into something I enjoyed and was pretty good at, I decided to create more and more while leaning into what lights my heart on fire. I am still learning, trying, and will be forever.

Then in the fall of 2020 I had a deep knowing inside of myself that this is where I should be full time, creating pretty things and connecting to the world through art.

Welcome and enjoy your stay!
